Hi and welcome! This journal was created when I quit my job to travel in 2013. So much has happened since then. First, there was the actual travel that I quit working for! I travelled to 13 countries and territories within Asia and it was incredible. I had no plans, and half thought I might just keep travelling for years. But I came back when it felt right, after 9 months, even if I hadn’t quite seen everything I wanted to see.

After that, I did a little freelance work then decided to pursue a Master’s degree just for the challenge. I got a ‘proper job’ and thought I was going to settle down and be all normal but after 13 months in the job I quit and decided to travel Latin America, which I did for the first 6 months of 2017.

I now have a ‘proper job’ again, but I’ve learnt some lessons about myself in the last few years, and I’m just going with the flow these days. Who knows what will happen. One thing’s for certain – I’ll be writing up what I did in Latin America, as I never actually updated the blog!
